MORE THAN A CAFE
Everyday Cafe is a cafe with a cause, created by Bible Center as a place for our neighbors to connect and enjoy hand crafted food and beverages. Our dream is to provide a beautiful and peaceful space in our community to celebrate art and culture, create jobs, and encourage the growth of the Homewood Avenue business district.
Everyday Cafe is a social enterprise of The Oasis Project, the community outreach and economic development division of Bible Center Church. The Oasis Project focuses on four key rungs on the ladder of economic advancement and opportunity—education, employment, entrepreneurship, and improving the built environment where people live, work, learn and worship.

OASIS COMMUNITY KITCHEN
Chef Ron Harper is cookin' something good! Oasis Community Kitchen is our source for delicious freshly made food. The cookies, baked goods, quiche, roast beef, soups, and especially our Chili and Macaroni and Cheese are made by hand in the state-of-the-art commercial kitchen.
As a social enterprise, OCK is a shared use commercial kitchen available for rent by caterers, bakers, and specialty businesses that need a certified kitchen to prepare their products.You may see some of these businesses at our Friday Pop-Ups.
Oasis Community Kitchen is also home to our state-of-the-art, multi-media equipped multi-purpose space, known as the Oasis Community Kitchen Events Center. The Events Center is also available for rent to the broader community.
OASIS FARM
Fresh greens and other veggies are harvested right here in Homewood! Oasis Farm is our source for the freshest produce for your salad, panini, or wrap. And it can also be yours!
Oasis Farm is a one-of-a-kind urban farm located in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood, growing fresh produce that feeds our community and stocks our kitchen.
OWN OUR OWN
Own Our Own is a business development program that offers a variety of entrepreneurial education opportunities, shared workspace, and coaching to underestimated entrepreneurs in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood. At the heart of the program is the Academy, a 12-week training experience using a proven curriculum to help participants build the skills and confidence to launch and grow their businesses. Graduates who are ready to grow further can continue into Academy 2.0, an advanced program built around a pitch competition and business prize, while the next generation gets its start through the Youth Academy, a hands-on entrepreneurship curriculum for grades 6 to 12.
Thinking about starting a business but don't know where to start? Own Our Own hosts an annual Entrepreneurship Bootcamp each August as a first step toward the full program, plus monthly Table Talk sessions where anyone can drop in, hear from a guest speaker, and connect informally with a coach.
As family, Everyday Cafe is proud to give our graduates a stage to sell their products and grow their customer base.
